Where more than one prize is offered, the first eligible ticket drawn will win the most valuable prize, the second eligible ticket drawn will win the second most valuable prize, and so on.

The prize values displayed for an individual raffle will apply to that raffle even if not all available tickets are sold.

6. Use of Raffle Proceeds

Only reasonable and actually incurred costs associated with conducting the raffle may be deducted from gross ticket proceeds, including the reasonable and actually incurred cost of prizes and applicable payment-processing or operational costs.

After these costs have been deducted, all remaining raffle proceeds will be applied to the nominated charitable program or lawful charitable purposes of 1Source Health & Wellbeing Inc.

No raffle proceeds will be distributed for the private gain or benefit of any person except by way of charity as permitted by law.

Where an estimated fundraising amount is advertised, the final amount applied to the charitable program may vary because of actual payment-processing or other reasonable raffle costs.

This wording tracks Treasury's requirement that only reasonable, actually incurred operational costs may be deducted and that the remaining proceeds must be used for the nominated not-for-profit or charitable purpose.

7. Draw Date and Location

The draw date for each raffle will be clearly stated on the relevant raffle page before tickets are purchased.

Unless otherwise stated for a particular raffle, the draw will take place at:

Mt Rumney, Tasmania

Entrants do not need to be present at the draw to win.

A raffle will not be abandoned solely because all available Lucky Numbers have not been sold.

The advertised prizes will still be awarded from the valid paid entries received.

Each raffle draw will occur within 12 months of the commencement of ticket sales for that raffle.

8. How Winners Are Selected

Winning numbers will be selected using a random draw process that gives every valid paid ticket an equal and random chance of being selected.

Where a physical Lucky Number draw is used, only valid sold Lucky Numbers will be included in the draw.

Where two prizes are offered:

First number drawn – First Prize
Second number drawn – Second Prize

A winning number cannot win more than one prize in the same raffle unless the specific raffle rules expressly state otherwise.

9. Winner Notification and Results

Winners will be contacted using the telephone number and/or email address supplied when purchasing their ticket.

Entrants are responsible for providing accurate contact information.

Results will be made reasonably accessible to participants and may be published on the 1Source Health & Wellbeing Inc. website, social media pages and/or the relevant raffle page.

Winning Lucky Numbers and the winner's name may be announced where appropriate. Full personal contact information will not be published.

Reasonable efforts will be made to contact winners and distribute prizes within a reasonable period after the draw.

10. Unclaimed Prizes

If a winner cannot be contacted or a prize cannot be distributed after reasonable attempts have been made, 1Source Health & Wellbeing Inc. will continue to make reasonable efforts to distribute the prize.

If the prize remains undistributed after a reasonable period, not exceeding nine months, the prize may be sold or otherwise disposed of in a reasonable manner.

Any proceeds received from the disposal of an unclaimed prize will be applied to the nominated not-for-profit or charitable purpose in accordance with applicable Tasmanian raffle requirements.

11. Eligibility to Enter

Entrants must provide sufficient and accurate contact information to enable them to be contacted and their prize distributed if they win.

Under Tasmania's exempt-raffle requirements, the following people must not purchase tickets:

Anyone involved in conducting or drawing the particular raffle, or any member of their immediate family; and

Anyone involved in the management of 1Source Health & Wellbeing Inc., being the organisation benefiting from the raffle.

Accordingly, 1Source committee members/management must not purchase tickets in raffles benefiting 1Source.

Anyone involved in conducting or drawing a raffle, and members of their immediate family, must also not purchase tickets in that raffle.

These restrictions reflect the current Tasmanian exempt-raffle conditions.

12. Payment and Entry Confirmation

An entry becomes valid only when:

the full advertised ticket price has been successfully paid; and

the selected Lucky Number has been successfully allocated and confirmed.

If a technical, payment or system error causes a Lucky Number to be duplicated, unavailable or incorrectly allocated, 1Source Health & Wellbeing Inc. may provide the purchaser with another available Lucky Number or refund the affected payment.

Where multiple Lucky Numbers are purchased in one transaction, each successfully allocated and paid Lucky Number constitutes a separate raffle entry.

13. Refunds

Raffle entries are generally non-refundable once a valid Lucky Number has been allocated and confirmed.

A refund may be provided where:

a payment or technical error has occurred;

a Lucky Number cannot be validly allocated;

an entry cannot lawfully be accepted; or

a refund is otherwise required by applicable law.

A change of mind after a valid raffle entry has been confirmed does not ordinarily entitle the purchaser to a refund.

14. Privacy and Participant Information

1Source Health & Wellbeing Inc. will collect sufficient participant information to administer the raffle, maintain appropriate raffle records, contact winners and distribute prizes.

Information collected may include:

name, telephone number, email address, Lucky Number(s) purchased and payment/transaction information.

Personal information will not be publicly disclosed except as reasonably necessary to announce raffle results, administer the raffle or comply with applicable legal requirements.

15. Third-Party Promotion

Mt Rumney Escapes may assist in promoting 1Source raffles and/or provide a location for a physical raffle draw.

Mt Rumney Escapes receives no remuneration for conducting or promoting the raffle.

If any third party receives remuneration to conduct or promote a particular raffle, participants will be informed in advance of the identity of that third party, the nature of their involvement and the nature of the remuneration.

Treasury specifically requires paid third-party raffle involvement and remuneration to be disclosed in advance.

16. Raffle Records

1Source Health & Wellbeing Inc. will retain sufficient records to demonstrate compliance with applicable Tasmanian raffle requirements.

Records may include:

ticket price and number of tickets sold; gross ticket proceeds; draw date; prize values; reasonable operational costs deducted; amount applied to the nominated charitable purpose; winners; prize distribution; third-party involvement or remuneration; and records concerning attempts to distribute any unclaimed prizes.

Tasmanian Treasury expressly requires raffle organisers to retain these types of compliance records.

17. Compliance With Tasmanian Raffle Requirements

These raffles are intended to be conducted as exempt raffles under the applicable Tasmanian gaming requirements.

Under the current Tasmanian Treasury conditions, a minor gaming permit is not required for a raffle where the total value of all prizes is $10,000 or less, provided all applicable exemption conditions are satisfied.

The total value of cash or cash-equivalent prizes offered in an exempt raffle must not exceed $5,000.

If the structure or prize value of a future raffle means it no longer qualifies for the exemption, 1Source Health & Wellbeing Inc. will obtain any necessary approval or permit before conducting that raffle.

18. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a Lucky Number, the entrant confirms that they have read and accepted:

these Raffle Terms & Conditions; and

the specific ticket price, prizes, charitable purpose, draw date and other details displayed for the individual raffle they are entering.
